Mr. Cesar M. Jayme, Jr. is a seasoned corporate finance executive with over five decades of extensive experience in banking, finance, and management.
Director Jayme has established a distinguished track record anchored on strong financial acumen and exemplary leadership, having held key positions across both the private and public sectors, complemented by professional training in financial institutions abroad. He commenced his career with the Commercial Bank and Trust Company (COMTRUST) and subsequently served in senior executive positions for a decade at the Philippine Investment Systems Organization (PISO), a private financial institution supported by the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank, which pioneered medium and long-term lending for agriculture and small industries.
His dynamic leadership has likewise extended to the public sector, where he served as President and Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman of the Armed Forces of the Philippines – Retirement and Separation Benefits System (AFP-RSBS) in 2001. In addition, he was member of the Board of the Philippine Social Security Association (PHILSSA) for four years, during which he championed initiatives aimed at improving the plight of Filipino workers.
Director Jayme has also served on the Boards of various corporations and organizations assuming roles as Chairman and Director, thereby contributing to institutional governance and strategic direction.
His management expertise has been further enriched through extensive involvement across diverse industries, including real estate, facilities management, private equity, construction, investment banking, and government foundation.
At present, Director Jayme serves as the Managing Director of CEMA Financial Consultancy and as a Consulting Partner of DII Capital Corporation. He is likewise an active member of the Financial Executives Institute of the Philippines (FINEX), an established and reputable organization for senior finance professionals in the country.
He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Economics degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1971. He pursued advanced studies and completed the academic requirements for Master in Business Administration and Master in Business Economics.
