SVP Ana Marie E. Veloso is the Acting Head of the Bank’s Development Lending Sector. She is responsible for providing financial assistance to both private and public sector institutions and individuals, and in the process, push the Bank’s development mandate in its key priority areas, namely, Infrastructure and Logistics, MSMEs, Environment and Climate Change, and Social Services and Community Development.

Prior to this role she served as Head of the Regional Management Team of Southeastern Mindanao and later Southern & Western Mindanao Lending Group, which handles branch and lending operations in the region. Under her leadership since she took its helm in 2013, the said Regional Team and Lending Group were consistent top performing.

With over 32 years of retail credit experience, SVP Veloso started her DBP career as a Project Analyst. Her long journey through account officership and various leadership roles thereafter inclusive of  three (3) year stint as Head of DBP Davao Branch, enriched her knowledge, skills and expertise in various aspects of credit and loan matters, preparatory to her current role as OIC of DLS.

A Certified Public Accountant, SVP Veloso earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from the Ateneo de Davao University.  She also holds a Masters Degree in Business Management.
