DBP has strengthened its corporate social responsibility efforts, enabling it to share the benefits of its continued financial success with disadvantaged sectors of Philippine society.
DBP continues to be at the forefront of carrying out relevant and meaningful programs through its flagship initiatives in three major areas: education, environment, and an outreach program.
Education
Over the years, DBP has consistently provided financial assistance to underprivileged tertiary-level students through the DBP Endowment for Education Program (DEEP) from 2008 to 2018, and its 2nd tranche, the DBP Resources for Inclusive and Sustainable Education (RISE) from 2018 until 2026.
In pursuit of sustaining the continuous legacy of this CSR undertaking, the Bank has launched the Integrated Scholastic Program for Inclusive and Responsive Education (INSPIRE) – an omnibus and comprehensive support mechanism, which strategically allocates financial assistance to both the basic and higher education sectors. The DBP INSPIRE offers scholarship grants, covering endowment for tuition fees and other school-related expenses, to indigent high school graduates who wish to pursue higher education. It likewise extends support to primary and secondary public school students through outreach programs, such as the Brigada Eskwela and Adopt-a-School Program (ASP).
The new CSR initiative reinforces DBP’s commitment of fostering inclusive support to the education sector, thereby empowering more Filipino youth at every academic level.

Environment
The DBP Forest Program is a non-credit program that aims to stop denudation and restore the country’s forest cover through organized collaboration with government and non-government organizations, state universities and colleges, people’s organizations and other qualified forest partners.
Outreach
DBP supports community development thru its outreach activities and programs. The Bank extends assistance to charitable institutions, organizations, and LGUs for projects aimed to augment the provision of basic social services to select vulnerable groups of society and for calamity and disaster response.
