The Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) recently granted a P140-million term loan facility to St. Dominic College of Asia, Inc. (SDCA) to partly finance the construction of its 10-storey school building expansion project located in Bacoor City, Cavite.

The project will help accommodate the growing demand of the population in the area for quality education from the primary to tertiary levels.  Once completed, the new school building will provide an additional 70 classrooms for Higher and Basic Education, resulting to a total of 117 classrooms.  The new building is designed to create an environment more conducive to learning and  improve classroom density for elementary and secondary school students.

The project is in line with the National Government’s thrust of improving the quality of education in the country.  This project will provide the school-age population greater access to basic, secondary, and tertiary education and is consistent with DBP’s thrust to prioritize social development projects all over the country.
