DBP opens branch-lite unit in Camarines Norte

July 14, 2022July 25, 2022 · News

State-owned Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) recently inaugurated its 14th branch-lite unit (BLU) located in the Municipality of Jose Panganiban in the province of Camarines Norte. The opening of DBP’s newest BLU supports the National Government’s efforts to promote greater financial inclusion, while increasing the bank’s customer touchpoints in high-growth areas of the country. Located at the northern portion of Camarines Norte, the coastal town of Jose Panganiban has a population of almost 60,000 with 531 registered commercial businesses in the mining, agriculture, and tourism industries.

Shown in photo during the blessing and inauguration of DBP’s BLU at Jose Panganiban are (from left) DBP Vice President Roderick P. Barbado, DBP President and Chief Executive Officer Emmanuel G. Herbosa, Jose Panganiban Mayor Ariel M. Non, DBP Executive Vice President George S. Inocencio, and DBP Assistant Manager Salvador S. Altar.
