DBP backs infrastructure projects in Bataan

·

State-run Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) and the Provincial Government of Bataan recently signed a P696-million 10-year term loan agreement to support various infrastructure projects that would enhance the Province’s socio-economic potential. Some of the major infra projects to be funded by DBP are:  26 road network projects, including farm-to-market roads; 20 flood control projects; construction of a two-storey high school building; and establishment of daycare centers. Bataan is home to around 761,000 residents spread across 11 municipalities and one component city.

Present during the loan signing ceremony were Bataan Provincial Governor Albert S. Garcia and DBP Chairman Alberto G. Romulo (third and fourth from left, respectively). Joining them were (from left) Bataan Legal Officer Atty. Efren C. Lizardo, DBP Executive Vice President Jose Gabino D. Dimayuga, Bataan Acting Treasurer Alicia R. Magpantay, and DBP Executive Vice President Susan Z. Prado.
