DBP installs ATM in island municipality of Bohol province

State-owned Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP) recently installed an offsite Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in Carlos P. Garcia, a fourth-class municipality in the province of Bohol as part of the bank’s mission to reach more Filipinos in rural communities by expanding the touchpoints for formal financial services. A first in the municipality’s history, the DBP touchscreen ATM, the only ATM in the island, enables a more convenient access to secure banking transactions for over 25,000 residents of the 23 barangays in the town.

Shown in photo during ribbon-cutting ceremony are (from left) DBP Ubay Branch Head and Assistant Manager Erzon E. Gamus, Carlos P. Garcia Mayor Fernando G. Estavilla, Second District of Bohol Representative Erico Aristotle C. Aumentado, and Bohol Provincial Governor Arthur C. Yap.
