Advisory to the Public Against Illegal Solicitation

The Development Bank of the Philippines warns the public against individuals and groups who are illegally using the name of DBP and its officers in soliciting donations from unsuspecting entities purportedly asking for donations, contributions, or any form of monetary support.

DBP advises its stakeholders and the general public that the Republic Act No. 6713 or the Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees strictly prohibits government officials and employees from engaging in any form of fund solicitation activities for any purpose whatsoever.

Individuals/groups who use the name of DBP and its officers to perpetuate such illegal acts shall be subject to criminal and civil actions provided under the law.

Should you encounter any suspicious individuals or groups claiming to represent DBP, please report them immediately to our Customer Experience Management Department via customerservice@dbp.ph or directly to your branch banking or relationship officer, for proper handling and investigation.
