DBP has been made aware of unscrupulous parties pretending to be authorized officers of the Bank and targeting its clients and partners through voice phishing (vishing) scams.
Vishing is the act of using a mobile phone or a telephone to pretend to be from legitimate entity and trick a victim into providing private, personal or financial information that can be used for malicious purposes.
Please be informed that DBP does not solicit money nor request clients to provide sensitive information such as user account and account number credentials over the phone.
Should you encounter such attempts, please report it immediately to our Customer Experience Management Department via customer@dbp.ph or directly to your branch banking or relationship officer, for proper handling and investigation.
Thank you.
