There have been reports of DBP EC Banking accountholders receiving emails about “Urgent Account Activation” procedures that “is mandatory to avoid total deactivation” of account. These are phishing emails.
The Development Bank of the Philippines does not send out, issue or distribute account or cardholder updates through electronic mail. The Bank also does not solicit account information via external/embedded links outside of the Official Website, http://dbp.ph/.
Should you receive this email, please do not respond to it and disregard all instructions stated. Advisories regarding the DBP EC Banking facility will be found only at the Official Website.
