DBP president and chief executive officer Francisco F. Del Rosario, Jr. met recently with key officials from Bank Albilad of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to discuss various joint marketing initiatives targeted at the overseas Filipino worker (OFW) sector in the Middle East.
The bank is exploring more joint business opportunities with Bank Albilad such as a pilot remittance loyalty program, and a salary loan program for OFWs in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. DBP also seeks to tap Bank Albilad for some of the Bank’s OFW livelihood initiatives.
Bank Albilad chief executive officer Khalid Al Jasser, and general manager and head of Bank Albilad-ENJAZ Remittance Sami Hamed Al Rajhi said that they hope to maintain a close business partnership with DBP.
Bank AlBilad is a joint stock company engaged in the provision of banking, financial, and investment services in accordance with Islamic Sharia principles. It covers over 70 percent of the Filipino remittance market in the entire Kingdom of Saudi Arabia with 130 branches.
